There are many ways to combat Spam.
Monday, May 7th, 2007Earthlink, however, seems to have opted for the most ridiculous way. Apparently, Earthlink.net webmail users can make use of a feature that requires those replying to an email to go perform a captcha test. These guys need to invest in a good spam filter system, for making email responders fill out forms to get mail across is certainly not a desirable way of establishing identity. It just adds another avenue for a phishing scam, if nothing else.
